From the foreword: Once again, we owe a debt of gratitude to the Prime Warden of the worshipful Company of Fishmongers, for allowing the Exhibition of Treasures for the 1970 City Festival to be displayed in his beautiful Livery Hall.

I am sure that this Exhibition will be of tremendous interest to the many visitors who wiII visit it during the estival, and there can be no doubt that to see so many exquisite things collected in such a lovely building cannot fail to support my theme of 'Come to Britain.'

We are lucky indeed to have Mr. Wyndham Goodden to undertake the considerable work of collecting these treasures, and for arranging their display. His task is certainly one which only a dedicated expert can undertake, for there is such a truly formidable collection of beautiful things in the City of London. Finally, may I convey my personal thanks to the Livery Companies and Banks and Business Houses who have allowed some of their treasures to be shown in this Exhibition? We in the City of London, are very grateful to them.

The condition of the booklet is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and blemishing, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
