Brown Boots in Earlsdon, by Mary Montes
Published by the Coventry branch of the Historical Association in 2008, 68 pages. A5 size booklet (N8325)
Earlsdon is an area in Coventry around a mile southwest of the city centre, and in the second half of the nineteenth century the area became an important centre for the watch making trade. This booklet provides a fascinating history of the trade and the people involved.
The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The covers have one or two very minor scuffs but are clean and bright, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
