This book is a pictorial account of the riots that took place in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol in April 2011, and it is packed full with colour and black and white photographs showing the streets, people and events of the riots..

From the rear cover: This book is a photographic collection of the original demonstrations against the siting of a Tesco store on the main Cheltenham road into Stokes Croft and the riot that took place in Spring 2011 which took place after the police raided a squat opposite the Tesco store. Riot police moved in with horses and dogs in the early evening and the ensuing riot spread from Stokes Croft into St Pauls and Montpelier. The police eventually retreated in the early hours and the rioters trashed the new Tesco shop....
