This book provides a fascinating short history of the railways in and around the Cambridgeshire market town of Ramsey, and focuses on the two branch lines running to the town from Holme and Somersham. Chapters in the book include introduction and opening Holme to Ramsey section, construction and opening Somersham to Ramsey section, operation and traffic 1863-1923, from grouping to closure, and the route and its remains.
