Full title: Borough of Ilkeston, Portrait Gallery of Forty of its Principal Inhabitants, A Souvenir of the Coronation of His Most Gracious Majesty King George V', by Edwin Trueman

Published by the author in 1911, 88 pages. Hardback - c.16cm by 25cm (A26WWSO)

This book collects together the details of 40 of the most important people living in and around Ilkeston in Derbyshire, and it offers a fascinating insight into the social history of the place and period - for starters they're all men of course!

The condition of the book is generally ok. The red cover boards have several scuffs and blemishes, colour fading in places, and bumping and wear along the edges and corners. The spine is intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an inscription in pen on the second inside page.
