Bombed Out, by Peter Harris, subtitled 'Aldeburgh's WW2 Tragedies and Incidents'
A4 size paperback published by Leiston Press, 67 pages. (S8292YWSO)

From the rear side cover: This book is a remembrance of Aldeburgh's significant Second World War events, and of that past generation of Aldeburians who endured the conflict with stoicism, cheerfulness, pluck and fortitude. The book seeks to preserve this important segment of Aldeburgh's history as little is evident today, but more significantly it aspires to provoke a consensus for the provision of a memorial to those killed in and around the Town during the conflict.

The condition of the book is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and creases, and some light wear along the edges and corners (including bumping in the top right hand corner which has caused light creasing to the inside pages in that area throughout the book), but the spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
