Bayards Cove, by David Stranack
Published by the Dartmouth History Research Group in 2012, 49 pages. A5 size Booklet (N4741P1)
From the introduction: Bayards Cove is one of Dartmouth's oldest and most scenic locatiobs. It is a magnet for tourists who love the quay's old world charm, and the beautiful views out to the mouth of the River Dart. Several years ago the history group decided that the history of the cove should be researched, recorded and published in the form of a booklet, and I volunteered to take on the task. Chapters in the booklet include:
- Bayards Quay
- Bayards Fort
- The Custom House
- Morocco House
- Portview House
- The Cobbles
The condition of the booklet is generally excellent. The cover is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, tidy, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover.
