Published by the Blockley Antiquarian Society in 1976, 38 pages. A5 size booklet (N3560)
The village of Blockley lies in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, about 3 miles northwest of Moreton-in-Marsh. It is situated on Blockley Brook, and is a picturesque place. This booklet provides a fascinating insight into the history of the place, as it details the short autobiography of Richard Belcher, who lived for many years in the village and who writes of it. The booklet also includes details of the riot that occured in the village in 1878, an event with Richard Belcher mentions in his memoir.
The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The covers have one or two minor scuffs, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
