From the foreword: This is the second of two volumes which together record more than 100 incidences of multiple deaths in the coalfield of Monmouthshire and Glamorgan. They list the names of those who suffered in them, and add other biographical data to help to identify them.
This booklet draws on extracts from Newpaper reports and other sources to compile a record of Mining accidents in South Wales, as well as the details of the miners who died in those disasters. Volume 2 deals with around 50 incidents and events that occured between 1850 and 1909, including:

The condition of the book is generally good. The covers have some minor scuffs, and some light nibbling and wear along the edges and corners, but the staple spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
