This book is a fascinating history of the planes and aircraft manyfactured in and around the city of Lincoln over the last century, and it includes a chapter on the First World War, as well as chapters on several aircraft manufacturing companies - including Ruston & Proctor, Robey & Co, Clayton and Shuttleworth, and AV Roe and Co. There are also three appendices listing Aircraft production, Robey designed aircraft data and drawings, and No.4 APP.
The book is illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs.
Condition of the book is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and creases, and some light nibbling along the edges, but the spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound
