This booklet provides a short history of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, a regiment in the British Army that had its origins in the wars in Ireland between William of Orange and James II in the 1680's and 1690's. During this conflict a volunteer force was raised for the defence of Enniskillen, which went on to become a regular regiment in the British Army and fought at the Battle of the Boyne. The regiment went on to have 279 years of loyal; and gallant service, before finally being disbanded in 1968. Sections in the booklet include:
