There are chapters on Off to War, The Ypres Sector, Cambrai, Counter Attack Masnieres and Les Rues Vertes, Return to Passchendaele, Doulieu, Hospital Life Etaples and Trouville, GHQ and Advanced HQ, and Return to Duties and Demobilisation.

From the rear side cover: This book is based on notes made by Guernseyman Private Latimer Le Poidevin whilst serving with the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry (RGLl) between January 1917 and June 1919. Fully illustrated throughout with archive photographs, detailed maps and illustrations it documents one man's experience of the First World War.

The condition of the book is generally excellent. The cover is clean and bright, the spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover.
