Whitwick is a village in Leicestershire, and this short booklet provides a very short introduction to the history of the colliery that was opened on the outskirts of the village in 1824. Whitwick subsequently became a colliery village, and coal mining continued at Whitwick until the pit finally closed in 1986.

Condition of the booklet is excellent. The cover is clean and bright, the staple spine is tight and intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
