2 cm Flak 30/38 Sfl - Sd Kfz 10/4, by Janusz Ledwoch & Robert Sawicki

Published by Wydawnictwo Militaria in 2003, 59 pages. Large A4 size softback (A10214)

Illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs (as well as five pages of colour plate drawings showing 15 vehicles with different markings and camouflage designs), this book has dual English and Polish text, and covers the design and operation of the Sd Kfz Anti-Aircraft Gun

The Sd.Kfz. 10 (known as the Sonderkraftfahrzeug - 'special motorized vehicle') was a German half-track that was used extensively during the Second World War as a prime mover for small towed guns. It could also carry eight troops in addition to towing a gun or trailer. The Sd.Kfz. 10/4, which is the subject of this book, was a variant of the standard model, and was designed to carry the 2 cm FlaK 30 anti-aircraft gun, which was mounted on a special platform with fold-down side and rear panels.

This book is number 172 in the publishers series on German AFV's and vehicles of the Second World War. Wydawnictwo Militaria, based in Warsaw, has an excellent reputation for producing high quality, detailed guides, and this book is no exception. Published on 'glossy' paper, with several pages of colour plate photographs and drawings, it also includes 7 full pages of plans and schematics of the vehicle (in 1:35 scale)

Condition of the book is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and bright, the spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
