The War Memorial in St Matthew's Church, Cambridge

The War Memorial in St Matthew's Church, Cambridge - To the glory of God and in honour of the men of St Matthew's Parish, Cambridge, who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1914-1918, and in the Second World War 1939-1945

                                    Published in 2000, 13 pages. A5 size booklet (N3569)

In 1920/1921 a War Memorial was unveiled in St Matthew's Church in Cambridge, and it contained a list of 156 surnames and initials - men who had served and died in the First World War. This fascinating booklet contains those names, as well as biographical details (including, where known, their rank and regiment, where they were born, where they died and where they are buried)

Condition of the booklet is generally excellent. The cover is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
