Did Lewis Carroll visit Llandudno? by Michael Senior

Book published by Gwasg Carreg Gwalch in 2000, 82 pages. Paperback (S5654)

Llandudno is a seaside resort and town in Conwy in North Wales. The town is situated just off the North Wales Coast railway line, and was specifically built as a Victorian era seaside resort, when the railways began to open up coastal areas as holiday destinations for the working classes of the great industrial cities.

Their has long been speculation surrounding a possible connection between the author Lewis Carroll and Llandudno. Carroll wrote Alice in Wonderland, and the inspiration behind his books was a girl called Alice Liddell, whose family often stayed at their holiday home in Llandudno. Their have been several suggestions about things and places in Llandudno that may have inspired aspects of his books, and this book explores everything to do with this fascinating subject.....

This book will delight anyone who is interested in Lewis Carroll and the history behind Alice in Wonderland, as well as people with a more general interest in Llandudno....

Condition of the book is generally excellent. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and tidy, the spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
