The Zulu War and the 80th Regiment of Foot, by Robert Hope
Book published Churnet Valley Books in 1997, 192 pages. Softback (S7096WSO)
From the rear side cover: The 80th Regiment of Foot, Staffordshire Volunteers, were involved in many campaigns and battles in the 88 years of their history (1793-1881). They served in South Africa from 1876 to 1880 and fought in the Zulu War of 1879, and this book is primarily centred on the Regiment's involvement in that campaign and the men who served there.
The condition of the book is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light nibbling along the edges, but the spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. The book curves very gently upwards along the left and right hand edges from where it has been stored flat on the shelves.
